Erica Luke

Twenty-year-old Erica Luke will be a fourth generation medical practitioner in her family. Her mother is a nurse practitioner, grandmother was a nurse and great grandma was a nursing assistant. 

The medical field runs strong in Erica’s family as demonstrated by all of the medical careers in the family. She knew from the early age of 9 that she would enter the medical profession and fulfill her desire to heal and understand medicine as it applies to the human body and healing. 

This high achieving Mendocino College student is finishing up her pre-requisites at Mendocino College with 66 units completed and a 4.0 grade point average. She will begin a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing at either Chico or Sonoma State this fall. Her goal is to obtain her BA degree and then apply for medical school with the ultimate goal of becoming a family practice doctor.

In addition to her studies, Erica is the Vice President of the Archery Club at Mendocino College and enjoys painting and welding.
