Jenn Malinowski - Alumni
Jenn Malinowski is living her dream of owning and operating her very own restaurant, The Wholly Bowl in Lakeport. A 2013 graduate of Mendocino College's Culinary Arts Management (CAM) Program, she credits her late grandmother and Chef Nicholas Petti with being her most avid supporters.
She graduated with honors from Mendocino College and is still enrolled in classes in the process of completing her associate degree in Business. Taking the CAM program motivated Jenn to write a paper in her English class about the lack of healthy, alternative foods in rural communities aptly titled "Fast Food Genocide." Just six weeks later, she signed the lease and created The Wholly Bowl, which opened its doors in November 2014.
The idea was simple, to create healthy and flavorful food in a small rural community. That is exactly what Malinowski has accomplished and has good advice for everyone out there who is stuck in the proverbial "rut." Don't be afraid to dream. Make the leap and see what happens. I am truly living my dream!"
