Tatum Gulyas
MC Graduate- Business Owner of “Brevado”
Tatum Gulyas always dreamed of owning her own clothing store but really didn’t think that it would ever happen.
She decided to pursue a career in radiology and while attending a required course for the radiology degree she realized that she wasn’t following her dream and with the support of her parents she changed paths and decided it was time to make that dream a reality.
She graduated from Mendocino College and credits receiving scholarship as helping to prepare for the financial burden of living and working in “the city.” She enrolled at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in San Francisco and earned a degree in merchandise marketing.
During her stay at FIDM she was actively involved in the premier marketing group and was a member of the honor society phi-theta kappa. She graduated with honors or simply put a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
Tatum opened her online boutique in July of 2016 and she celebrated the opening of her retail store on August 14, 2017. Her goal for the future is to open more stores and possibly start designing a line of her own signature clothing.
Tatum’s message to other students is simple, “dreams really do come true if you are willing to work hard, look mine did!”
